Just in case knowing us by voice isn't enough.
TONY (he/him) is a writer in Tucson, AZ, where he met Kend several years ago upon their mutual desert move for the MFA Creative Writing program at the University of Arizona. He's getting a PhD now in geography, where he thinks about things like where science comes from and the ways and places that queer people can identify as doers or learners of science. He's also a photographer and a recovering sketch comedy artist.
KEND (they/them) is a librarian who solo hikes when having a good weekend and writes scathing reviews of mediocre books when having a bad weekend. They spent most of their childhood falling out of trees and their adulthood accidentally setting fire to the kitchen. Kend has an MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing through the University of Arizona and is polishing off an MS in Library Science while trying to sleep occasionally and make friends and do this adulting thing with style and panache. Kend is the true triple threat: asexual, aromantic, and agender. Suck it up, patriarchy.
